Dear /pp/
Its been a while since I've addressed you, and for the most part I like to go with the flow, but it seems like /pp/ right now has drifted very far from what it was originally intended to be.
The idea behind /pp/ was for a place where people could join and hang out, have some lulz etc. etc. /pp/ has always been open to anyone and everyone, its how most of you became regulars, it was one of the few places on stickam where you didn't really have to know anyone but you could still have a good time. Most importantly /pp/ was a drama free zone. There has been a lot of drama in the last year and a half. The most recent being this thing with pen and pluto. Even though they seem to have resolved their differences I still think its an issue that needs to be addressed. Pluto has always been the heart of /pp/, hes a pretty kindhearted guy and easy going, which is one of the reasons we think so highly of him. There have been a lot of people who have come and gone in the history of /pp/. I'd left a little before pluto left stickam, and when I started coming back to stickam pluto was still gone. I probably wouldn't have stayed if I hadn't been introduced to pen. While the heart of /pp/ was gone, pen definitely increased the lulz factor, also he kept most of the /pp/ crowd together in plutos absence. During the misunderstanding between pen and pluto every time pens name was mentioned it would start a wave of drama.
Even though most of us are a part of /b/, I'd like to think that we don't follow the 'hive' mentality since we're not exactly anonymous, and know each other for the most part. This post isn't about pen, rather its about everyone in general. Pluto is a great guy, and we all love him, but every time he gets into an argument with someone in the group it doesn't mean everyone just join in. I know pluto agrees.
To sum up. /pp/ is a place to hang out, have some lulz and fuck around. Pluto always wanted /pp/ to be a fun and tension free zone. If you have personal drama, deal with it elsewhere. All this talking shit about each other stops here and now. I'll be enforcing these new 'Ideals', as well as the other few people who are mods. You can blame me all you want for 'unfair kicks/being power hungry/causing drama'. The bottom line is /pp/ more or less only has one rule, treat each other with respect. Its a simple concept. I don't have anything personal against any of you. If you break the rules, if I see anyone getting picked on for no reason, I will kick you. /pp/ has was meant to be a place for EVERYONE.
