If you haven't played it, it chronicles the story of Manuel Calevera, a Grim Reaper. In the world of Grim Fandango, the reapers are actually glorified travel agents, who book trips for the freshly dead from the 8th underworld; where the game takes place, to the 9th underworld; every soul's final resting place. The better your life was, the better your trip is. Manny discovers deep seeded corruption with this system, and your mission is to unearth the conspiracy while saving the soul of Mercedes Colomar, a woman who Manny has fallen for.
I replayed through this game about a year ago, and I'm happy to report it stands the test of time. The game is every bit as entertaining as the first time I played it. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone I meet, regardless of whether or not they're into videogames, as it's extremely accessible.
